August 31, 2015 Is it over?

Did you know that a single tablespoon of healthy soil contains more living organisms than there are people on earth?
Dear Friends,
Looks like our heat grip has finally let go.  Our fall/winter plantings of broccoli’s, kales, cauliflower, fennel, kohlrabi, cabbages and more look perkier even just this morning.  The over cast skies will help keep the moisture in the soil as we continue to daily keep reining in our water usage.
Last week we gave recipes on ideas for carrots and will basil still coming on, here are some ideas for use and remember, cilantro can always be made into a pesto too.  We make up batches of basil pesto and freeze for winter use.
Members, we’ve updated our CSA Member Agreement, so please be sure to review our new terms.
