Dear Friends,

     No doubt about it.  There are lots of things these days to worry about.  But here’s a bright thought…your CSA membership helps keep this little farm chugging along doing what we are meant to do –  maintaining food producing land for local consumption and caring  for our farm animals.  Another huge benefit is the protected habitat for insects, birds and small mammals. It’s been a pretty good year for the Monarch butterflies here with lots of milkweed to harbor and feed them.  The bumblebees are few but the wild bee population is doing well and appears stable.

     We have a new batch of local honey that is absolutely delicious and dripping with things ‘good’ for you.  We’re offering the honey at a discount for the next two weeks for only $12.50..try some, you’ll be amazed at how good it is (let alone how good it is  FOR you).  It’s available on our Green Store and will be included with your next delivery.
