Dear Friends,
It’s much too hot this hot summer Sunday afternoon to get too excited about cooking but your ingredients this week are yummy and we will be cooling down as the week goes on.
Cauliflower and Broccolini are two of our favorites for taste, nutrition and ease of preparation. If you’d like some new recipes, here are some you might enjoy:
Last week we sent delicious beets and their greens. This week we have golden beets and if you can’t get to the bulb soon, they’ll keep in the frig for quite a while. Be sure to sauté or use the greens soon for most nutrition. Oh, and don’t peel before cooking. Makes a mess. The skins come off easily after either baking or boiling. This is a tasty salad to make:
