November 7, 2016 It’s All About Thyme
“No prince had lived in those wretched hovels, no red-robed bishops, only farmers and laborers whose stories no one had written down, and now they were lost, buried under wild thyme and fast growing spurge.”

Dear Friends,
Thank you all for your responses to last week’s newsletter. Some of your stories with customer relations were pretty darned funny (and discerning) too. I think my top one for the week was a call from a mother quite in distress as her child had a school project due the next day and could they come over and have me give a tour and talk about nutrition. When I explained that it was only 20 minutes before sunset and we were still doing our evening chores she said “Couldn’t you just turn the lights on for us? We can be there in half an hour!”
The little tomatoes this week are quite delicious either raw or in dishes. This recipe is quick and easy and an excellent side dish:
We still have a few jars of our delicious, good for you, local honey available. Makes for a great inexpensive gift for someone:
Call or email me if you need cooking tips. Happy to oblige.
